Taking a Break
After my summer of job disappointment (see here and here), I’ve decided to take a bit of a break from applying for jobs. Yet More Job Disappointment
So, yes, I failed to get a job. Again. I thought that the interview had gone really well. I was calm and confident, and answered all the various questions articulately. I felt very positive about it. But apparently a really strong application and a good interview performance still isn’t enough to land me a job. Sigh.

Interview at Hope
I just heard that I’ve been shortlisted for interview for the teaching fellowship in philosophy and ethics at Liverpool Hope University! I’m really pleased! I’d absolutely love to spend a year working with Steve and Patrice. And it was great to meet Simon Podmore at the ACPR conference. He’d be a great colleague as well.
